Hello fencers,

Our order with the HemaShop is now away! All you beginners using club kit can look forward to some nice new masks shortly.

Swords as usual on Tuesday and Fridays, and on Thursday the 13th our venue will be having a Community Ceilidh. Tickets are free, so if you would like to indulge in the traditional cross-training activity of dancing come along!

1930 on Tuesdays: German Fighting Arts

October will see us continue our overview of beginning the fight with advantage. Openings, feints, and a good vorschlag will be our focus for the next few weeks!

Swords and gear are available to borrow, and beginners are welcome to attend. Fill in this form if you plan to come along for the first time.

1930 on Fridays: Freeplay, Greatsword

Fridays are open for our members to spar and experiment with whatever takes their fancy! Longsword, messer and shield, rapier, spear, sabre, broadsword, etc.

We shall also be running our greatsword study group on Fridays, so if you fancy learning how to use the biggest swords ever made come along and give em a whirl!
